Whether it is Deepika Padukone, Alia Bhatt, Shraddha Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor or Rani Mukheerji, most of the female centric movies have outshined in the year 2018. Many films with big names in the star cast have failed to impress the audience and tanked at the box office as well. Deepika Padukone – DP’s year began with Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Padmaavat where Deepika Padukone’s eponymous character is a self-assured queen who, though famed for her beauty, commands attention to her knowledge, intellect, courage, and decisiveness. Rani Mukherji

Rani Mukerji – Another outstanding performance by Rani was Hichki, which hit the theatres in March, the film beautifully portrayed the story of Naina Mathur, a teacher who suffered from Tourette Syndrome. The Hindi drama film is the official adaption of the book Front of the Class: How Tourette Syndrome Made Me the Teacher I Never Had.
