Independence Day 2019 preparations in full swing across India

From Rameswaram in Tamil Nadu to the Red Fort in Delhi, India gears up for 73rd Independence Day. People across the nation have started preparations to celebrate the important day with full enthusiasm. On 15 August, 1947 India became independent from 200 years of colonial rule. After that Independence Day is celebrated across India annually on the same date. This day reminds us of all the sacrifices that our freedom fighters made for our country.
