The grand finale of Miss World 2019 beauty pageant will be held on December 14, 2019 in Excel, London. Suman Rao from Rajasthan, who was crowned Femina Miss India 2019, will be representing India at the pageant. India has won Miss World title six times in the past. First Reita Faria won the Miss World contest in 1966 and recently Manushi Chillar won the Miss World 2017 title. Reita Faria (1966): Reita Faria is the first Indian women to be crowned as Miss World in 1966. After winning the coveted Miss World title, she completed her MBBS degree and then moved to London to complete her education from the King's College Hospital. (File Photo)
Aishwarya Rai Bachchan: After a gap of 28 years, Aishwarya Rai won the Miss World title in 1994. Soon after her big achievement, Aishwarya forayed into films, and made her debut with Mani Ratnam's 1997 Tamil film Iruvar.
