pride
To commemorate the Stonewall riots of June 1969, the month of June was chosen for LGBT community to recognize a day of ‘liberation’ as many took to the streets, host events in pride. Talking about having equality to gender-orientation, 2019, so far has been a proud month. We saw Taiwan make history as it became the first Asian country to legalise same-sex marriage coming very much ahead since 2001 where the Netherlands became the very first country to ever legalize gay marriage. As the Pride Month which has indeed, been a proud month ends, let us look at some of the stars who have come out, ‘out-and-proud’.
