2017 Next Gen Hyundai Verna launched in India: Know price, specifications
The all-new 2017 Hyundai Verna was launched in India on Tuesday at an introductory price tag of Rs 7.99 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The model was first launched globally in China in 2016 and has been one of the most anticipated models ever since. Hyundai Verna is based on the K2 platform and it is inspired in terms of design from its older sibling-Hyundai Elantra, which was launched in India last year.
Hyundai Verna Engine
The Highline Plus trim will be offered on all engine variants of Vento, which are the 1.2 Litre TSI petrol, 1.6 Litre MPI petrol and the 1.5 Litre TDI diesel as well and Hyundai Verna will available with two engine options - a 1.6-litre petrol and a 1.6-litre diesel.
Speed of Hyundai Verna
The petrol motor produces 121bhp and 151Nm of torque, whereas the diesel engine churns out 126bhp and 260Nm of torque. Both the engines are coupled to a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic gearbox.
