Cyclone Vardah wreaks havoc in Tamil Nadu: Watch in pictures

Cyclone Vardah hit the Chennai coast around 2:15 A.M. on Monday. The cyclone uprooted trees, damaged huts and two people died. Huge destruction has been witnessed in Tamil Nadu and several traffic jams have also been reported. Further, high alert has been sounded and NDRF, Indian Navy and Indian Airforce have deployed their units to manage the situation.
