BJP leader Jaya Prada lost to Samajwadi Party’s Azam Khan in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections from Rampur parliamentary seat. During the poll campaign, Azam Khan made sexist jibes against one-time colleague Jaya Prada. In return, the actor-turned-politician severely criticised Azam Khan heavily. Though Jaya Prada fought the elections bravely against Azam Khan, she had to face massive defeat. In a conversation with News Nation at session 4 of Hamari Sansad Samemlan on Friday, the actor-turned-politician spoke about her political battles.
