Hong Kong Protesters Stand Firm Amid Beijing Crackdown
Amid Beijing launching crackdown in Hong Kong, the protestors have stood firm against the bill that would allow local authorities to detain and extradite people to territories that Hong Kong does not have extradition agreements with. These territories include mainland China and Taiwan and the people in Hong Kong have been very apprehensive about it. Demonstrations against the bill began in earlier in April and March this year.
