Narendra Modi on Thursday took oath as Prime Minister of India for the second consecutive term in a glittering ceremony at the majestic Rashtrapati Bhavan. Along with Modi, 57 other MPs also took oath as ministers. Of the total 57 ministers, 24 were of Cabinet rank, 9 of independent minister of state rank and 24 minister of state rank. Several regional leaders, including heads of Bangladesh, Myanmar, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Nepal and Bhutan. The other dignitaries and celebrities who attended the ceremony were News Nation Editor-in-chief Sanjay Kulshreshtha, Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut, Karan Johar, Rajkumar Hirani, Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra and Abhishek Kapoor.
