As Janmashtami marks the birth of Lord Krishna, it was celebrated with fervour across India. People gathered in huge numbers at almost every Krishna temple across the country. Great joy and enthusiasm was observed during the birthday celebrations of the Hindu God. From Delhi’s Birla Mandir to Vrindavan's Chandrodaya Mandir, every temple was decorated in a lavish manner. Devotees at different states performed their rituals and relished the birth anniversary of Lord Krsihna.
