In one such incident reflecting their untiring devotion to the motherland, troops of CRPF's 47th battalion sector headquarter at Mokamaghat and 131 bn at Bojhpur, Patna put their heart and soul in cleaning the Ganges at areas close to the Digha Ghat in Patna.

The National Mission for Clean Ganga (NMCG) is the implementation wing of National Ganga Council which was set up in October 2016 under the River Ganga (Rejuvenation, Protection and Management) Authorities order 2016.
