Modi in Indonesia Pictures show the bond two neighbours share

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who arrived in Indonesia on Tuesday night, held delegations-level talks with Indonesian President Joko Widodo and took part in kite flying competition held in Jakarta. This was Modi’s first official visit to Indonesia, which is India’s maritime neighbour. After decades of ignoring each other, it looked like the two neighbours, which share a traditional bond, are coming together for the betterment of their people. Indonesia is a Muslim country where a large Indian diaspora lives. Modi also interacted with the people of Indian origin and reminded them about their roots.
