Here are the top launches of cars and bikes by renowned companies in the early month of September:

Hyundai Xcent Prime

Hyundai Xcent Prime: Hyundai Motor India on September 11 launched Xcent Prime's CNG powered variant which shall be suited to commercial segment. The sedan shall be priced at Rs 5.93 lakh. The two CNG powered trims of the compact sedan are priced at 5.93 lakh and Rs 6.12 lakh, respectively.

Tata Tigor

Tata Tigor: Tata Motors has unveiled another variant to its recently-launched Tigor compact sedan range in India. The new Tata Tigor XM is priced at Rs 4.99 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) and has been placed between the base variant Tigor XE and the higher-spec XT trims.

Audi Q7

Audi Q7 40 TFSI: German car manufacturer Audi on September 4 launched Q7 SUV petrol version with seven seat capacity in India. The SUV is named as Q7 40 TFSI, and it is priced at Rs 67.76 lakh (ex-showroom). The top-end model of Audi Q7 40 TFSI is priced at Rs 74.43 lakh.

Skoda Octavia

Skoda Octavia RS230: Czech automobile manufacturer Skoda Auto on Moday unveiled its performance oriented sedan Octavia RS230 priced at Rs 24.63 lakh (ex-showroom). The Octavia RS230 is powered by a 2 litre turbocharged petrol engine with a top speed of 250 km/h. It can accelerate from 0 to 100 km in 6.8 seconds, Skoda Auto India said in a statement.

Mahindra & Mahindra e-Rickshaw

Mahindra & Mahindra e-Rickshaw: Mahindra & Mahindra on September 9 launched India's first electric rickshaw e-Alfa priced at Rs 1.12 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). It has been initially launched in Delhi/NCR region and will later spread its roots in Kolkata, Lucknow and other cities in the country.

Nissan e-car Leaf

Nissan e-car Leaf: Japanese auto maker Nissan has unveiled the upgraded version of its electric car Leaf to take on competitors like Chevrolet Volt and BMW i3 in the electric car space. With over 2.8 lakh Nissan Leaf electric cars sold so far globally, the car is set to give its major competitors a run for their money.

Royal Enfield

Royal Enfield Classic 350 and Classic 500: Renowned motor cycle maker Royal Enfield Classic has unveiled Classic 350 and Classic 500 in two new colour variants, rear disc brakes. The price tag for Gunmetal Grey Classic 350 is Rs 1.60 lakh while the Stealth Black Classic 500 is priced at Rs 2.05 lakh (on-road, Chennai).

Ducati Scrambler

Ducati Scrambler Mach 2.0: The much awaited Ducati Scrambler Mach 2.0 is all set to hit the Indian markets which will add to the company’s India offerings. The 2.0 Scrambler comes with a new paint. The Scrambler line along with Triumph Bonnevilles is all set to spice up the movement in the Indian big bike market.

Renegade

UM motorcycles Renegade and Mojave: UM motorcycles on September 4 launched Renegade Classic and Mojave Commando editions in India priced at Rs 1.89 lakh and Rs 1.80 lakh respectively. The launch was a move to expand UM motorcycles’ portfolio in India. The company has started bookings for both variants and will start delivering motorcycles in October.
