As RRB NTPC world’s largest online exam which is held in 74 shifts, and a lot intense security process is involved in declaring the result. The RRB NTPC Exam was conducted in the month of March/ April/ May 2016 for recruitment to 18252 Non-Technical Popular Category (NTPC) posts across various centers. Nearly 92 lakh candidates had submitted applications were organized by RRB.

More than 56 lakh candidates appeared for RRB NTPC 2016 exams that were held from 28 March 2016 to 30 April 2016.

RRB NTPC recruitment 2016 for 18252 Non-Technical Popular Category (NTPC) posts, where around 93 lakh applications of aspirants out of which 56 lakh aspirants were shortlisted and appeared in the written examination. Here is the latest update on RRB NTPC 2016

Objections, if any, were invited from the candidates on questions/answer keys from 12.08.2016 to 21.08.2016. After consideration of these objections the Question Papers (indicating finally deleted questions, if any), updated final Answer Keys & Candidates’ Response shall again be made available on RRBs website in September/October 2016.

As informed vide earlier notice dated 10.08.2016, RRBs will hold a 2nd stage Computer Based Test (CBT) for various NTPC (Graduate) category posts, in terms of Para 8.12 and 14.03 of CEN No. 03/2015. Candidates equal to 15 times of vacancies shall be called for 2nd stage CBT based on the merit position in theCBT held during 28/03/2016 to 03/05/2016 (hereinafter called 1st Stage CBT).

Final selection of candidates will be based on merit position obtained in the 2nd stage CBT and/or result of Aptitude Test/Typing Skill Test wherever applicable. Normalization of marks will be done as per extant rules in 1st and 2nd stage CBT. 2nd stage CBT is likely to include questions pertaining to General Awareness, Arithmetic, General Intelligence and Reasoning.

The duration of 2nd stage CBT will be of 90 minutes covering 120 multiple choice objective questions. The date(s) of 2nd stage CBT shall be published on RRB’s website in due course.Please note and keep visiting RRB websites regularly for the updates in this regard. Date: 30.08.2016

1) Log on to the official website: www.indian railways.gov.in; 2) Click on the link 'RRB NTPC Results 2016'; 3) Enter the details like registration number and date of birth; 4) Click on submit; 5) Your RRB NTPC Results will appear on the screen; 6) Download the same and take a printout for further reference.

For RRB NTPC Graduate recruitment there shall be single stage common Computer Based Test (CBT) for all the notified categories. Only when neccessary, Aptitude Test / Typing Skill Test will be conducted. CBT will be held on the same day.

Candidates must carry following documents when they come for examination

(CBT) : (i) e-Call letter, (ii) Valid photo ID, (iii) One Passport size photograph.
