India has played superbly in the Asia Cup Hockey tournament and reached the finale after thrashing arch-rivals Pakistan 4-0 in their last Super 4 encounter at Dhaka. The Indian team has been well led by Mandeep Singh and has remained unbeaten due to excellent performances by Harmanpreet, Gurjant Singh, Lalit Upadhyay and others.

Before thrashing Pakistan, India had trounced Malaysia 6-2 in their other Super 4 encounter.
