Five coaches that have been blessing to Indian Cricket team

A team needs a good coach in order to perform well. Sometimes behind a good performance of the team, the effort of the coach goes unnoticed, despite leading the team with zeal. It was in 1992 that Indian cricket team had its first coach. India has had a total of 10 coaches since then- Ajit Wadekar, Sandeep Patil, Madan Lal, Anshuman Gaekwad, Kapil Dev, John Wright, Greg Chappel, Ravi Shastri, Gary Kirsten and Duncan Fletcher. Let us have a look at the 5 best coaches that have their share of effort in making our team compete at global level: 1. Anshuman Gaekwad (From the year 1997-99, 2000) Anshuman Dattajirao Gaekwad has been Indian Cricketer and Indian national cricket team coach for two times. No. 3 batsman, and a sharp fielder, he led India win maiden series in West Indies. As a coach also he had a successful tenure. 3. Duncan Fletcher (2011- 2015) Duncaen Fletcher was a Zimbabwean cricketer. He was appointed Indian cricket team coach on April 27, 2011. Although 2012 did not start that good but Fletcher with his efforts led Indian team win its first bilateral series in England after a period of 24 years. In the ICC ODI team rankings, Fletcher with skipper M.S. Dhoni led India to No. 1 spot. 4. John Wright (2000-2005) John Wright was India’s first foreign coach. He was appointed in the year 2000.
