Marking on of the biggest launch, tech giant Apple unveiled iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus and iPhone X on the occasion of the tenth anniversary of the smart phone at Steve Jobs Theater in the new Apple campus in California. The iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus will be available in 64GB and 256GB variants, priced at Rs 64,000. These will be available at Apple authorised re-sellers from September 29, Apple India said in a statement.

Samsung launched its much awaited flagship smartphone Galaxy Note 8 in India on September 12. The company has already started its pre-registration and on global level Note 8 goes on sale from September 15. Samsung Galaxy Note 8 have featured bezel-less display as the primary source of attraction.

Chinese electronics and software company Xiaomi launched its first Android phone Mi A1 in India on September 4, 2017. The smartphone works on software designed by Google with OS upgrades and built in Google services. Pricing at Rs 14,999, it is available in three color variants – Black, Gold, and Rose Gold.

Panasonic launched its P9 smartphone in India on on September 6, 2017. Running on Android 7.0 Nougat the phone is priced at Rs 6,290. It is available in Champagne Gold and Black colours only. The device also sports a Quick Reply' feature that allows users to reply to messages directly from the notification without opening the full-scale app.
