Toyota launches Etios Cross X Edition at Rs 6 80 lakh ahead of festive season

Toyota has introduced new variants of its flagship car called ‘Etios Cross X Edition’ ahead of the festive season of Diwali. The car will be available both in petrol and diesel variants ranging from Rs. 6.80 lakh and Rs. 8.22 lakh (ex-showroom Kolkata).

The new ‘Etios Cross X Edition’ is powered with the same 1.2 litre petrol and 1.4 litre diesel engine which is present in the current version of Etios.

The petrol version of the car produces 78 hp of power and 104Nm of torque, while the diesel version delivers 66 hp of power and 170 Nm of highest torque. The major change that the new Etios Cross X Edition have is in its looks and the other aspects remains the same.

In the interior, it will have a 6.8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with iPod compatibility. Talking about the looks of the brand new Etios Cross X Edition, it gets a new quartz brown color scheme with matching plastic cladding on the sides, wheel arches and the back door. The front grill has been completely blacked out with fog lamps bezels.

On the safety and security front, Toyota Etios Cross X Edition comes with ABS(Antilock Braking System) with EBD(Electronic Brakeforce Distribution). With dual front SRS airbags. Both the diesel and petrol variant will support keyless entry. Toyota claims that the petrol variant will deliver a mileage of 17.71 kmpl and diesel engine will give 23.59 kmpl.
