Xiaomi is all set to launch the second version of its new flagship, bezel-less smartphone ‘Mi MIX 2’ today. The event will be aired live on Facebook at 11:30 P.M. Chinese mobile giant is ready to bring a successor of the popular smartphone in the form of Mi MIX 2, which will be released at University of Technology Gymnasium Beijing.

CEO of Xiaomi took his Twitter handle to announce that the launch of Mi MIX 2 to be held on September 11(one day earlier), which was supposed to take place on the same day as of Apple iPhone 8 launch.

Mi MIX 2 may have features like company’s second iteration of the bezel-less display technology called Full-screen display 2.0. The screen will be a 6.4-inch 2960x1440p AMOLED panel manufactured by Samsung. It will even have greater screen-to-body ratio, same as the first phone.

Mi MIX 2 comes with more powerful Snapdragon 835 SoC chipset and a healthy 6GB RAM along with storage capacity of 128 GB. It also has a battery backup of 4,400 -4500 mah. The smartphone will have the latest Android version Oreo 8.0 along with MIUI 9 user interface. Mi MIX 2 is also expected to have 19-megapiel camera on back and 13-megapixels in front It is still not clear, when the phone will reach Indian markets.
