UK Elections: Tory Blue Gets Better Of Labour Red, Johnson Trounces Corbyn

With a thumping victory, British Prime Minister Boris Johnson is all set to return to Downing Street. The Conservatives have won an overall majority in the UK general election. The Tories crossed the 326-seat threshold with results on several seats still pending. The return of Boris Johnson will end the uncertainty over Brexit and will help him take the UK out of the European Union. Buoyed by the results, 55-year-old Johnson said that the victory would give him a mandate to "get Brexit done" and take the UK out of the EU next month. After getting the majority, Johnson’s party is headed towards the biggest win for a Conservative leader since Margaret Thatcher in 1987. (Twitter/@BorisJohnson)
