The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) has scheduled a press conference for Thursday, December 14, where the team is likely to make a big announcement over the findings of alien life.
The press conference will be addressed by those scientists who had been involved in the study of thousands of planets discovered by the Kepler space telescope.
So far, the Kepler space telescope has successfully identified over 2500 planets, and over 2000 more need to be studied yet. The Kepler has found many planets orbiting their respective star in the so-called “Goldilocks Zone” which is warm enough for the flow of liquid water.
The press conference scheduled to release an announcement maybe related to any one of those planets.
The officials at NASA released a press note that hinted at the discovery of alien life. The press note said, “The team at the Kepler Space Telescope has been searching for extra-terrestrial life since 2009, and now they have found something spell bounding.
In the course of time, the telescope has found many Earth-sized planets on the habitable zone, and researchers believe that some of them have the possibility to support life. According to NASA officials, this startling discovery was made using machine learning supported by Google.”
The recently released press release by the officials’ states, “The discovery was made by researchers using machine learning from Google. Machine learning is an approach to artificial intelligence, and demonstrates new ways of analysing Kepler data.”

NASA scientists are currently working on new Webb space telescope that is scheduled to be launched in 2019. The telescope’s major objective is to find Earth-like planet in the space.
