Asteroids can bring tsunamis, shock waves and flattening winds that could be catastrophic. The space rocks approach towards the Earth due to the gravitational forces that affect them. Around 50 asteroids including 2019 OK, 2019 OD, 2015 HM10, 2019 OE, 2019 NN3, 2019 MB4, 2019 MT2, 2006 QV89, 2016 NO56M, RF12 and others would have zip past the Earth in past few months, but failed to hit. It is said that one day all life on the Earth will be extinct. Not only life, but the Earth will also extinct someday and an asteroid could be the possible reason. Shocked to hear that? However, a car-sized asteroid slams into the Earth's atmosphere about once in a year. On the other hand, an asteroid large enough to threaten the existence of life on Earth arrives once in every few million years. Over 7 lakh asteroids that have been found in space. Out of 7 lakh asteroids, at least five asteroids will come dangerously close to the Earth this year. If these asteroids hit the Earth, humans will extinct.
The five supermassive asteroids which will approach towards Earth this month are dubbed as Asteroid 2019 GT 3, Asteroid 2010 CO1, Asteroid 2000 QW7, Asteroid 2019 RC and Asteroid 1998 FF14. Note that these five asteroids will zip past the Earth and we are safe.

Asteroid 2019 GT 3
Asteroid 2019 GT 3 is one will approach dangerously towards Earth on September 6, 2019 at 12:21 am EDT. Classified as potentially hazardous asteroid, the space rock is being tracked by NASA. According to the NASA’s Center for Near Earth Object Studies (CNEOS), the approaching asteroid is almost as big as the Empire State Building. According to CNEOS, the asteroid is currently traveling at a speed of 30,500 miles per hour. It is estimated to have a diameter of 1,214 feet. This supermassive asteroid is capable of creating a crater that’s about 3 miles wide if it collides with Earth. This means the asteroid is powerful enough to destroy an entire city during an impact event.
Asteroid 2010 CO1
Asteroid 2010 CO1 will enter Earth’s neighborhood on September 13 at 11:42 pm EDT. The 853 feet space rock is currently moving with a velocity of 32,100 miles per hour. It is expected to be about 0.03561 astronomical units or roughly 3.3 million miles away from Earth during its flyby.

Asteroid 2000 QW7
Asteroid 2000 QW7 is the third massive space rock which is expected to fly past Earth this month. The 2,133 feet space rock will approach towards Earth on September 14 at 7:54 pm EDT. Asteroid 2000 QW7 is traveling at a speed of 14,361 miles per hour and it is the biggest space rock to approach Earth this month. As it flies by to Earth, its closest distance from the planet will be 0.03564 astronomical units or about 3.3 million miles.
Asteroid 2019 RC
Asteroid 2019 RC will approach towards Earth on September 16 at 4:40 pm EDT. During its visit, the asteroid will be about 0.04482 astronomical units or about 4.1 million miles from the planet’s center. According to the NASA, Asteroid 2019 RC asteroid is moving at a speed of about 33,800 miles per hour and is estimated to be about 886 feet long.
