China on Friday night launched a telecommunication technology test satellite by Long March-3B carrier rocket in southwest China’s Sichuan Province. China’s state-run Xinhua news agency reported that the satellite was launched from the Xichang Satellite Launch Centre.
This telecommunication test satellite was launched at midnight with the help of a long March 3B carrier rocket. Long March 5 is believed to be China’s largest carrier rocket, as reported by China’s Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation.
The satellite, a three-stage rocket with a strap of liquid rocket boosters will send telecommunication data to Earth. Long March-5 and Long March-7 rockets will be used to launch record-breaking number space launches.
China’s Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation had initiated a successful test run of the satellite in November 2016.
