The National Aeronautics and Space Administration’s (NASA) asteroid tracking system has recently detected four gigantic space rocks that are dangerously approaching towards Earth. It is to be noted that one of the approaching asteroids is almost as big as the Great Pyramid of Giza. Of four, asteroids 2019 UT1 and 2019 UE1 will come close to Earth on Monday. On the other hand, asteroids 2019 UC and 2019 TR2 will fly towards our planet on Tuesday and Wednesday, respectively.
Asteroid 2019 UT1
According to the NASA’s Center for Near-Earth Object Studies (CNEOS), the first asteroid that’s expected to zoom past the Earth on Monday gas been identified as 2019 UT1. Asteroid 2019 UT1, which has an estimated diameter of around 69 feet, is currently flying towards Earth at a speed of almost 20,000 miles per hour. Asteroid 2019 UT1 will approach Earth on Monday at around 8.30 PM (IST) or 11:02 AM (EDT). During its closest approach, the asteroid will be about 0.01215 astronomical units or roughly 1.1 million miles away.
Asteroid 2019 UE1
According to NASA’s CNEOS, the second asteroid that will visit Earth’s vicinity is identified as 2019 UE1. The space rock, which is about 131 feet wide, is currently flying at a speed of 15,000 miles per hour. Asteroid 2019 UE1 will zip past Earth on Monday at 10:30 PM (IST) or 12:51 PM (EDT) from a distance of 0.02191 astronomical units or about 2 million miles away.
Asteroid 2019 UC
NASA’s CNEOS estimated that the third asteroid that will come close to Earth on Monday is identified as 2019 UC. Currently, the space rock is flying with a velocity of almost 20,000 miles per hour and has an estimated diameter of around 289 feet. Asteroid 2019 UC is expected to enter Earth’s neighborhood on October 29 at 6:30 AM (IST) or 9:29 PM (EDT). During its approach, the asteroid will be about 0.00749 astronomical units or roughly 700,000 miles from the planet’s centre.

Asteroid 2019 TR2
The fourth asteroid that will come close to Earth on Tuesday is identified as 2019 TR2. The space rock, which has an estimated diameter of 394 feet, will approach Earth with a speed of about 31,000 miles per hour. Of four, the asteroid is the biggest space rock in the group. 019 TR2 is expected to make its debut in Earth’s vicinity on October 30 at 8:30 PM (IST). During this time, the asteroid will be about 0.04959 astronomical units or around 4.6 million miles from the planet’s centre.
