American Geophysical Union: NASA to present new breakthroughs on Earth, space missions, Curiosity rover and more.

New Delhi:

NASA may treat the science enthusiasts and lovers with more new breakthroughs soon. NASA's researchers will reveal new findings on a wide range of topics ranging from Earth to space science at the annual meeting of the American Geophysical Union, according to the agency.

American Geophysical Union's annual meeting is scheduled to take place between December 12-16 in San Francisco.

NASA will also live stream the briefings on its website.

NASA briefing topics include: new global satellite views of Earth’s flowing ice sheets and glaciers; the latest discoveries made by the Mars Curiosity rover; the impact of climate change on animal populations around the world; and new results from NASA’s Dawn spacecraft orbiting the dwarf planet Ceres.

Scientists belonging to NASA and their colleagues who use the research capabilities of the agency will also showcase noteworthy findings during scientific sessions, that will be open to registered media.

The registration for media for the event, which will take place at the Moscone Convention Center at 747 Howard St, is open, says NASA.
