Mysterious Planet Nine exists, say NASA scientists. They  have theorised that there is a ninth planet - Planet Nine. Earlier, Pluto was declared a dwarf planet in a huge neighbourhood. In 2017, NASA officially claimed that it is harder to imagine the earth's solar system without a Planet Nine. Planet Nine, is believed to be 10 times bigger than Earth and 20 times farther out from the sun than Neptune – the outer-most planet in the solar system.

While Planet Nine’s existence has yet to be officially proven, esteemed researchers strongly suspect that there is a large planet lurking in the far edge of our solar system.

"Every time we take a picture, there is this possibility that Planet Nine exists in the shot," said Surhud More, an astronomer at the University of Tokyo.

Astronomers have claimed there is an overwhelming evidence pointing towards this planet's existence. But no telescope has been able to capture it till date. It is way far than its reach.

"If you were to remove this explanation and imagine Planet Nine does not exist, then you generate more problems than you solve. All of a sudden, you have five different puzzles, and you must come up with five different theories to explain them," NASA said in a statement.

The first evidence for Planet Nine surfaced in 2014, when the discovery of a planetoid revealed that a handful of mini ice-worlds in the outermost reaches of the solar system followed suspiciously similar paths around the sun. “If things are in the same orbit, then something’s pushing them,” said Scott Sheppard, an astronomer at the Carnegie Institution for Science in Washington and the co-discoverer of the 2014 planetoid.
