In 2012 there was a conspiracy theory which talked about the destruction of the Earth, NASA refuted the theory that a giant planet Nibiru from the outside solar system would smash into our planet to end the human race. However, the conspiracy theories are back as the Daily Telegraph asked this week “Will the 2017 solar eclipse cause a secret planet called 'Nibiru' to destroy Earth next month?"
The answer to this question was no but this idea was generated by Nancy Lieder, from Wisconsin in 1995 when she claimed of contacting aliens from the "Zeta Reticuli" star system.
She warned that Nibiru would collide with Earth in May 2003, but when no cataclysmic event occurred her followers chose December 2012 as the new date for a collision, neatly coinciding with the end of the Mayan calendar.
NASA has debunked the theory of unseen planet. Nibiru, or Planet X, which was first mentioned in 1976 by Zecharia Sitchin in his cult book 'The 12th Planet'.
North America will witness an eclipse of the sun for the first time in 99 years on August 21, 2017.
It is called the Great American Eclipse and is going to be a once-in-a-lifetime celestial spectacle.
David Meade, who authored 'Planet X - The 2017 Arrival' asserts that the planet, Nibiru, also know as Planet X, will crash into Earth on September 23, 2017.
The mysterious planet is believed to be home to a race of ancient aliens called the Annunaki, who are thought to be behind the creation of human race.
Doomsday has been predicted in year 2003, 2007, 2012, and 2015. However, few scientists have raised questions on the existence of Nibiru and have even said the planet is not real.
