SpaceX CEO Elon Musk has revealed second picture of the company’s first spacesuit full-body look on Instagram. The space suit design is created by the company.
Musk on Instagram wrote, “First picture of SpaceX spacesuit. More in days to follow. Worth noting that this actually works (not a mockup). Already tested to double vacuum pressure. Was incredibly hard to balance esthetics and function. Easy to do either separately.â€
In the photo you can see that the spacesuit is posed next to SpaceX's Crew Dragon capsule, which will be used for transporting astronauts to and from the International Space Station for NASA.
The picture emphasizes the classic black-and-white color scheme for the suit as well as the ship, which looks quite a bit different from the robotic Dragon 1 that's now being used to transfer cargo to and from the International Space Station. AliveForFootballÂ
SpaceX’s recent tests have focussed largely on unmanned spaceflights and reusable rocket technology.
Earlier, SpaceX CEO Elon has unveiled the 'future of space travel' – the space company's in-house spacesuit.
The first image was shared by Musk on Instagram in late August.
