The renowned theoretical physicist, Professor Stephen Hawking has forewarned that humans must leave Earth within 100 years in order to sustain their survival.
According to the physicist the life on Earth is at an alarming risk of being wiped out by a disaster, such as asteroid strikes, epidemics, over-population or climate change.
Professor Hawking will reveal this upcoming threat to human existence in a new documentary. He is making a documentary for the BBC called "Expedition New Earth." It's part of the return of a show called "Tomorrow's World", which was very popular in the last century.

As part of this new documentary, Professor Hawking will travel around the world to find out how we might exist in outer space. In the documentary, airing on BBC 2, he will claim that time is running out for human existence on Earth and we must carve our future elsewhere.
The season will also witness public voting to find out Britain's best invention that impacted peoples' lives in the most influential ways.
