Its not war of the worlds but a rare celestial phenomena that is going to happen which will be visible from the comforts of our home.
The two planets Venus and Jupitar will get together in a brief passing moment in the November sky and early risers can get a clear view of the eastern horizon.

Jupiter and Venus will pass within 17 arc minutes or 0.28 degress of each other. Even after and before the conjunction the two planets will remain in close proximity of each other.

What is Venus Jupiter conjunction?

Conjunction between the two brightest planets will happen when both these planets will rise above their horizon and will be at 0.3 degrees apart (the diameter of half of moon) in the night sky. Both amateur and professional astronomers are standing on their heels to witness the event.

The distance between the two planets is approximately 416 million kilometers but for this time it will appear like they are orbitting the Sun side by side.

Astronomical conjunction in simple words means an aparent meeting or passing of two or more celestial bodies. It may be between two planets or among one planet and the moon. NASA's Jet  Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) have released videos of how to see it.

Place and Time:

People residing in the UK will be able to watch the conjunction foor a good one hour as Venus will rise at 5:56 AM and Jupitar at 5:58 AM.
Observers in New York City will see the two planets rise with a difference of five minutes, Jupiter at 5:26 AM and Venus at 5:31 AM local time.

How to watch:

The conjunction will be best visible from the country side, away from the light and pollution from the city. It will be best viewed with naked eye.
