That's it from us. Sad end to the day. Hope you enjoyed our coverage as much as we did to bring this to you. Do join us for the next game as Chennai host Delhi Capitals at Chepauk. Till then, tada.

The match has been abandoned. An anti-climactic finish. So, RCB are officially out of the tournament. A smiling Kohli shakes hands with the RR players and the players walk back to the dressing room.

WICKET: Yuzvendra Chahal tossed the ball up and Samson just couldn't time it to perfection. Falls in 30 yard circle. First wicket DOWN!

18 runs off the third over. Just 23 runs needed in last two overs. Still NO WICKET.

Rajasthan Royals hasn't lost a wicket in first two overs but haven't been able to up the scoring rate. As of now, they are scoring 11 runs per over. In last three overs, they need 41 runs. Equation getting tough now.

DROPPED! Full marks for try! Livingstone SURVIVES!

4.6 - These are the first two ball for Liam Livingstone

Just 10 runs off the first over. Bangalore are back in the game.

First ball DOT. Second ball SIX. That's sanju Samson for you!

We are set for the second innings!

Bangalore 62/7 in 5 overs vs Rajasthan (Virat Kohli 25, Shreyas Gopal 3/12)

Seven down! Wickets falling faster than updates.

SIXTH wicket. My word what is happening here. Klaasen couldn't stay at the wicket for long.

A brilliant over from Jaydev Unadkat. Under pressure, bowling second last over of the innings, he gave just 9 runs and picked all-important wicket of Parthiv Patel. Half-side back to pavilion in space of four overs. After 4 overs, it's 54/5.

50 up for Royal Challengers Bangalore!

After 3 overs, it's 45/4.

Another wicket. Wickets are falling like pack of cards for Bangalore!

MILESTONE ALERT: Shreyas Gopal picks second hat-trick of the season

WICKET: Gopal flighted the ball, bat turns and AB de Villiers follows his counterpart to pavilion.

WICKET: Shreyas Gopal provides all-important breakthrough. Gopal tossed the ball up and Virat couldn't time it to perfection. Straight into the hands of long on fielder.

First over went for 23 runs! That's some serious hitting!

Two ball two sixes! What a start from Royal Challengers Bangalore and skipper Kohli.

First ball and Virat kohli deposited into the stands! SIX!

So Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers are out in the middle. Rajasthan Royals are in the middle too. We are set! It's game time.

Getting heavier now. Proper rain

Well, well. Bad news folks, the rain is back and so are the covers. What a bummer! The umbrellas are up..

It's still drizzling at M.Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bangalore. After 26 minutes, the overs will start to reduce.

Live visuals in - Still raining. The overs will start getting deducted post 9pm local time which is roughly about 40 minutes from now.

Oh dear! It has started to pour at the Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bangalore. It doesn't seem like too heavy, just a faint drizzle but good enough to hold up play. So, looks like we are in for a delayed start here. We'll keep you posted, stay tuned.

Here are the playing XI for two sides:

Rajasthan Royals: Ajinkya Rahane, Liam Livingstone, Sanju Samson(w), Steven Smith(c), Riyan Parag, Stuart Binny, Mahipal Lomror, Shreyas Gopal, Jaydev Unadkat, Varun Aaron, Oshane Thomas

Royal Challengers Bangalore: Parthiv Patel(w), Virat Kohli(c), AB de Villiers, Heinrich Klaasen, Gurkeerat Singh Mann, Marcus Stoinis, Pawan Negi, Umesh Yadav, Navdeep Saini, Kulwant Khejroliya, Yuzvendra Chahal

Both team have made changes. The host have made two changes, and visitors have made one. This remains to be seen if this will help these two sides.

TOSS: Rajasthan opt to bowl

The toss is scheduled to happen in 30 minutes from now and team winning the toss will look to have a bowl first and restrict the opposition for a low score and chasing has been easy at Bangalore wicket. However, this remains to be seen what toss-winning captain goes with.
