India thrashed United Arab Emirates by nine wickets in an inconsequential round-robin match of the Asia Cup Twenty20 cricket tournament, here today.

United Arab Emirates: 81 for nine in 20 overs (Shaiman Anwar 43; Bhuvneshwar Kumar 2/8).

India: 82 for one in 10.1 overs (Rohit Sharma 38, Yuvraj Singh 25 not out; Qadeer Ahmed 1/23).


Already through to the final, India have made three changes in the playing eleven, brining in Bhuvneshwar Kumar, debutant Pawan Negi and Harbhajan Singh in place of Asish Nehra, Ravindra Jadeja and Ravichandran Ashwin.
