The Super Four stage of the ongoing Asia Cup 2018 is set to go underway as India gear up to lock horns with Bangladesh at the Dubai International Stadium today (September 21). India have an impeccable record against their neighbours Bangladesh, especially in the Asia Cup as they have defeated them 15 times out of 16 with the Tigers winning one.

India started their Asia Cup 2018 campaign against Hong Kong and survived a mighty scare as the Hong Kong openers nearly took the match away from Rohit Sharma and co with a brilliant opening stand. However, the Men in Blue made a super comeback against arch-rivals Pakistan after they dominated and dismantled them in a massive 8-wicket win.

Bhuvneshwar Kumar was the pick of the bowlers for India in their impressive win against Pakistan, and Kedar Jadhav also impressed with the ball given the fact that he is a part-time bowler.
Hardik Pandya, Axar Patel and Shardul Thakur have been replaced due to injuries as Ravindra Jadeja, Deepak Chahar and Siddharth Kaul have been called up replace them. The spin unit will be dominated by the magical duo of Yuzvendra Chahal and Kuldeep Yadav and Rohit Sharma is unlikely to tinker with the winning combination.

Bangladesh had a solid start their Asia Cup 2018 campaign after they defeated Sri Lanka in their opening game, however that start was given a huge dent by the dark horse Afghanistan as they defeated Bangladesh by 136 runs.
All eyes will be on Mushfiqur Rahim as he smashed a brilliant 144 in the opening game against Sri Lanka.

The batting department will rely on Liton Das, Rahim, Shakib al Hasan, Mominul Haque, Mohammad Mithun and Mahmudullah, while Mosaddek Hossain and Mehidy Hasan will be at the helm of the spin department, with Shakib chipping in to help them.
Bangladesh have enough quality to cause a major upset and have previously done so in the World Cup and would like to repeat that feat once more, while the Rohit-Sharma led team India would know that there is no place of complacency after that scare against Hong Kong.
