Apart from the mighty scare against Hong Kong, Asia Cup 2018 has been a relatively easy affair for the Indian cricket team as they have bulldozed over most of the teams that they have faced till now in the tournament as they defeated neighbours Bangladesh and Pakistan with ease. And now, skipper Rohit Sharma has the opportunity to break three records when he takes the field against Pakistan on Sunday (September 23).

The Rohit-Sharma led Men in Blue have been dominative in every aspect of the game, be it batting, bowling or fielding as the Mumbai Indians skipper leads the team in some style and authority.

Meanwhile, the Hitman has scored two brilliant half-centuries after scoring 23 runs against Hong Kong in the opening fixture.

  2. Rohit Sharma is just 94 runs short of hitting the 7000-run mark in ODI cricket. He will be the fifth-fastest overall batsman and third fastest Indian after former skipper Sourav Ganguly and current regular skipper Virat Kohli.
