Asian Games 2018 saw India bag a total of seven medals on Day 6 to take their tally to 25 as two medals came through rowing and men's doubles tennis. Women's Kabaddi team settled for the silver medal after losing to Iran in the final, while, three bronze medals came in rowing. Shooter Heena Sindhu took home a bronze medal along while. Prajnesh Gunneswaran bagged the bronze in tennis.
Squash trio of Dipika Pallikal, Joshna Chinappa, and Sourav Ghoshal assured three medals by reaching the semi-finals of their respective rounds, and the Indian men's hockey team battered Japan by 8-0.
