Asian Games 2018 - Day 8 (Sunday) is set to witness plenty of drama, moments of history, glory, heartbreak and nail-biting action as the Indian athletes will participate in the fields of athletics, shooting, badminton, hockey, bridge, etc. Furthermore, India’s Table Tennis contingent led by the 2018 Commonwealth Games champions Manika Batra and Achanta Sharat Kamal also begin its campaign on Sunday.

Spotlight will also be on the badminton courts as Indian aces Saina Nehwal and PV Sindhu play their respective matches in the women’s singles semi-finals on Day 8 of the Asian Games 2018, while the Indian men’s hockey team will eye a berth in the semi-finals as they take on dark horses South Korea in Pool A match.

In the field of athletics, Sreeshankar will show his metal in the men’s long jump final, while Muhammad Anas and Rajiv Akoria will participate in the 400m men’s final. Hima Das and Nirmala will look for medals in the women’s 400m finals as India look to increase their medal tally on the Day 8 of Asian Games 2018.
