New Delhi:

India’s badminton start Parupalli Kashyap on Saturday sought the help of External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj after losing his passport in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. The 2014 Glasgow Commonwealth Games gold medallist was travelling to Odense for the Denmark Open.

The Indian men’s singles shutter lost his passport on Saturday night and is now stranded there. Kashyap was supposed to leave for Odense on Sunday for the Denmark open.

Stranded in Amsterdam, Kashyap took to micro blogging platform Twitter and sought Swaraj’s help and also tagged Sports Minister Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore and Prime Minister Narendra Modi and president of Badminton Association of India, Himanta Biswa Sarma.

"Good Morning Ma'am, I've lost my passport at Amsterdam last night. I have to travel to Denmark Open, French Open and Saarloux Open, Germany . My ticket for Denmark is on Sunday, 14th October .I request help in this matter," Kashyap wrote.
