The IPL 10 auction saw the 8 franchise's shop for T20 stalwarts who they deemed to be the best buys for their respective teams. While some snapped up seamers to boost their pace attack, others looked to add batsman to provide impetus to their batting line-up.

England all-rounder Ben Stokes was the most expensive buy for this season with paying a whopping 14.5 crores paid by the Pune Supergiants to buy him. Meanwhile  English seamer Tymal Mills was picked up by RCB for 12 crores. The biggest surprises came in the form of Proteas Ace spinner Imran Tahir and Sri Lankan allrounder Thisara Perera would remained unsold in the auction. Two Afghanistan players Mohammad Nabi and Rashid Khan also made the cut fetching lucrative bids from Sunrisers Hyderabad.
