A Bangladeshi fan of Indian cricket committed suicide by jumping before a train after India lost to Pakistan in the Champions Trophy.

Pakistan won the Champions Trophy cricket final on Sunday after defeating India by a massive margin of 180 runs.

Pakistan opener Fakhar Zaman hit a brilliant century to help his team pile up a huge score of 338 runs. In response, India meekly surrendered and was unable to reach even the 200 - run mark.

Bidyut, a resident of Jamalpur and an Indian cricket fan, killed himself by jumping in front of a train, police officer Nasirul Islam was quoted as saying by Dhaka Tribune.
