The Board Of Control For Cricket In India (BCCI) on Saturday announced the squads for the upcoming India U-19 Challenger Trophy after the junior selection committee met in Kolkata to pick the four teams -- India Blue, India Red, India Green and India Yellow -- for the tournament.
The tournament is scheduled to be held in Lucknow from November 10 to 16.
According to reports, tis year, the BCCI has invited the Sri Lankan U-19 team to participate in the tournament -- the first time a foreign team will participate in the Challenger Cup. The main focus will be to increase the competition and give exposure to the players ahead of the U-19 World Cup.
