The Supreme Court on Friday delivered its verdict on BCCI-Lodha Panel reforms case.

Following are five important points made by the apex court on BCCI-Lodha panel case on Friday.

#The apex court directed BCCI not to release funds to state cricket bodies till they promise to implement Lodha panel recommendations.

#The top court also asked Lodha panel to appoint independent auditors to scrutinise the BCCI accounts.

#Supreme Court asked BCCI president Anurag Thakur to give undertaking to comply with Lodha panel recommendations and court orders.

#Lodha panel to fix a limit on monetary value of contracts BCCI can enter into; all contracts above this limit to be approved by panel.

#Next hearing in Supreme Court on Lodha panel recommendations will take place on December 5, 2016.

Justice Lodha said that Supreme court has done what it thought was best for implementation of its judgement dated 18 July 2016.

 

 

Earlier the Supreme Court on Tuesday dismissed the petition filed by BCCI seeking a review of the apex court’s validation of the Lodha panel reforms.
