Star all-rounder Ben Stokes and batsman Alex Hales have been suspended by ECB and won’t be considered for selection in England team till further notice. The pair were involved in a late night brawl near Bristol nightclub, which is being investigated by the police.
The ECB made its decision after video footage was published by British newspaper The Sun, purportedly showing Stokes — throwing punches in a street fight. Stokes was arrested on suspicion of causing actual bodily harm after an incident early Monday in Bristol.
Hales, an opening batsman for England, was out with Stokes that night.
The duo, who was left out of the fourth ODI against West Indies, won't be considered for the final match of the series as well.
