Team India’s pacer Bhuvneshwar Kumar may soon tie the knot with his “better half†Nupur Nagar after the couple got engaged secretly on October 4.
Putting an end to the rumours of him dating Telugu and Bengali film actor Anusmriti Sarkar, Bhuvneshwar engaged to Nupur in a private ceremony attended by his close friends and family members.
According to the reports, the engagement ceremony took place in a private hotel in Greater Noida. Two days ago, Bhuvneshwar had posted a picture on his Instagram account with a caption “Here’s the better half of the picture @nupurnagar “.
The official twitter handle of the “Circle of Cricket†posted a picture of the engagement. In the picture, Kumar is seen sporting ethic Kurta while Nupur is wearing a traditional Salwar Suit.

After the ceremony, Bhuvneshwar Kumar posted a picture of him and Nupur with a captain that reads, “Rewinding and going back to the happy memories, inspires me to fast forward and dream about the amazing future that lies ahead.â€

A happy Father of the 27-year-old cricketer told The Times of India that Nupur was Bhuvneshwar's choice and she is very "sweet and educated." He said the couple would tie the knot as soon as Bhuvi gets a ten-day window from his busy cricketing schedule.
