Indian cricket team is all set to meet arch-rivals Pakistan in final of the Champions Trophy in England. With that, there are all kinds of anticipation on both sides of the boundaries. Pakistan skipper Sarfraz Ahmad’s uncle Mehboob Hasan, who lives in Etawah in India, is all set to root for India in the high-voltage clash.
Irrespective of his nephew being captain of Pakistan team, Mehboob emphasised that he and his family always cheer for team India. Putting the nation above everything else, Mehboob also reiterated that India will come out victorious in Sunday’s match.
It is to be noted that Mehboob once paid visit to dargah of Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti in Ajmer to pray for Sarfraz Ahmad getting a place in Pakistan’s cricket team.
"Our wishes are with him but we want our Indian team to win, and I am confident we will win. Indian team is the best in the world and we are all proud of them, we will win surely," said Mehboob Hasan.
Mehboob is posted in Etawah Agriculture Engineering College as senior clerk. His son Salman is an engineering student in Lucknow.
