South African batsman David Miller on Sunday scored the fastest T-20 hundred in the second T-20 at Senwes Park, Potchefstroom.
Also known as “Killer Miller” for his brutal batting, Miller hit every bowler of visitors to all corners to register his maiden T-20 hundred that went on to became the fastest in the T-20 format.
"It was a special feeling. I just tried to watch the ball and back myself. It was scratchy at the start of my innings, towards the end it was sweet. Anything over 200 is what we thought. It is a good wicket here in Potch," Miller said after the brutal ton.
Miller scored his century in just 35 balls in which he hit nine sixes and seven fours. Miller has broken fellow South African Richard Levi's record for the fastest T20I ton.
Levi scored a ton against NZ in 45 balls. Faf Du Plessis and KL Rahul are third on the list with thier tons scored in 46 balls.
South Africa scored massive 224 runs at the loss of 4 wickets in their 20 overs innings of the second T20 against Bangladesh.
Apart from Miller, Hashim Amla also took on Bangladeshi bowlers and thrashed them with his quick 85 off 51.
