England’s legendary opener Alastair cook might miss his retirement Test match against India which is set to start from September 7 (Friday) at the Kennington Oval in London. The hosts England have already sealed the five-match Test series by taking an unassailable lead of 3-1, but the fifth Test match has already got massive significance due to the fact that England’s highest run-scorer will hang his boots after the match.
However, Cook’s wife Alice is reportedly pregnant and might give birth to their third child before or during the Oval Test, which might force Cook to miss his farewell game which he deserves for all his services to the cricket.
