Twitterati bow down to King Kohli after he smashes 22nd Test ton in England

Indian cricket team skipper Virat Kohli scored a stupendous ton (149) against England in the first innings of the ongoing Test match at the Edgbaston Cricket Ground in Birmingham.

Kohli put his woeful 2014 tour behind and proved why he is regarded as arguably the finest batsman of this generation. This was Kohli’s first Test century in England as he made the day 2 memorable for himself and the whole nation by saving a crumbling Indian batting performance and breaking Brian Lara’s record by becoming the fastest to score 7000 Test runs.

The Delhi-born talisman scored his 22^nd century in the longest format of the game and saved India’s blushes.
