Captain cool Mahendra Singh Dhoni has turned 35 today. The Indian ODI skipper has always kept himself moving to claim landmarks. In his 12-year-long international career Dhoni has accumulated plenty of records and revolutionised the way Team India now plays ODIs.

1: Captain cool Mahendra Singh Dhoni is the only Indian captain to have led his side in all three major formats of the game.
2: He is the first non-Australian captain to win 100 ODI matches, and first Indian to achieve the mark.
3: In 2013, Team India won their first Champions Trophy that bagged all ICC trophies in his bucket.
4: Under his captaincy Team India remained number one Test team for 18 months.
5: On 1 November 2011, the Indian Territorial Army conferred the honorary rank of Lieutenant Colonel to MS Dhoni. After which he only became the second Indian cricketer following Kapil Dev to receive this prestigious honour.
6: He scored 224 runs against Australia in 2013, highest individual score scored by any Indian batsman.
7: He also scored 183 runs against Sri Lanka, highest individual score by any Indian wicketkeeper batsman.
8: Across all formats Dhoni has effected a total of 148 stumpings, highest by any wicket keeper.
9: Dhoni is definitely a great match finisher, he has ended 9 times a game with a sixer. This is highest by any player in the world.
10: He is second in the all-time list behind Ricky Ponting's record of 165 wins. Out of 194 ODIs in which Dhoni has captained, he has won 107 and lost 72.
