Hardik Pandya sustains hairline fracture, out for six weeks

Hardik Pandya has sustained a hairline fracture on his right shoulder. BCCI medical team has confirmed that he will take six weeks to recover.

The Baroda allrounder had suffered a blow on his right shoulder during a training session and has been subsequently released from the squad, the BCCI said in a statement.

Lokesh Rahul and wicket-keeper Wriddhiman Saha were also forced to miss the third Test due to injuries but the BCCI is expecting the young opener to regain fitness before the fourth Test, scheduled to begin from December 8 in Mumbai.
