Australian Skipper Steve Smith on Tuesday apologised for his occasional fall out of emotions during Border-Gavaskar Series against India.
Host India defeated Australia by eight wickets in Dharamsala Test to clinch the Border-Gavaskar series in emphatic style. He credited Team India for being a fantastic side and clinching a magnificent series full of cricket and controversy.
“It was a magnificent series, probably one of the best I have been part of so far. Credit to India, they are a fantastic side. It was a fantastic learning curve for us. It is one of the most picturesque grounds. It was a very good wicket here. I have been pretty intense throughout the series. I probably let my emotions take over at times and I apologise for that.” added Smith.

Australia captain was warned by umpire about looking toward viewing area before Kohli erupts in the third Test. The brain fade controversy hampered Smith’s reputation as a gentleman cricketer.
